BIO

Originally from Chicago, now bouncing back and forth from Los Angeles, I’m 24 years old with a BFA in Film/TV studies. What I do — Writing, Photography, Filmmaking and Storytelling. Some of the influences in the artist world — Lewis Baltz, Robert Adams, John O’hara, Raymond Carver, Brian Eno, Beach House, Edward Hopper, Wim Wenders, Ingmar Bergman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Edward Yang, Mike Mills and many more. I went on too far.

FILM — I am currently working within small roles on commercials and films within the professional realm. Clients such as Lexus, Crocs, and Sony. For myself - I am writing screenplays, directing, producing and shooting short films, music videos and short documentaries. On the road to a feature. Striving to reflect our world and various moments and emotions we endure as people. All on screen.

WRITING — If I’m not doing anything, I’m writing. And if I’m not writing, I’m not doing anything. Since English class in the 4th grade in Ms. Eck’s class, writing is something I grabbed ahold of. Short stories are my bag, but am currently writing my first book.

PHOTOGRAPHY — I am currently working within the professional realm as an assistant and BTS photographer. I picked up a camera when I was 15. I can’t paint. I wish I could. But I found that photography can emulate a painting-look if you mix various techniques and elements. As this is what I go for in my work, I naturally attempt to make each photo seem as if it was taken in a distant past. The nostalgic mundane is what I innately float to. I bring a camera everywhere I go. Each photo, each frame, is an instant story that becomes timeless. All photos within the archive are taken on various cameras and lenses, all on various stocks of 35mm, 120 film and Digital formats.
